Subject to some changes as not every state has finalized their Tax Year 2020 specifications.
State Paper Filing - Added/Enabled for Tax Year 2020 for form types 1099, W-2, 1042-S.
1099-NEC - Added support for state direct filing for all required states (paper & electronic).
Note: Pennsylvania (PA) currently only allows for the 1099-NEC file to be generated as a standalone run for the 1099-NEC (cannot use All Form Type / All Filers). Further functionality will be unlocked in a future release.
1099-K - Added support for Florida (FL), Oregon (OR), and Virginia (VA).
Note: Florida is now listed as a valid state for state reporting purposes (previously was N/A).
1099-S - Added support for Arizona (AZ).
W-2 - Added support for Massachusetts (MA) Paid Family and Medical Leave payments which are reported in the RS Record to the state.
Note: Please see the Help File → Special Cases for State Filing for information on how to properly format your data to report this new field.
Minnesota (MN) 1099 Filing - Missing or Incomplete Recipient TINs are now zero filled / zero padded.
This is because the state rejects any incomplete TINs.
Idaho (ID) 1099 Filing - The state specific RV Record, which is part of the C Record, is now blank filled if there is no withholding for that record.
