- The IRS FIRE site is currently closed and re-open on 1/08/2021. 1099 Pro will begin accepting Service Bureau uploads shortly after that point.

- State Filing:

- 1099-K - Added support for Florida (FL), Oregon (OR), and Virginia (VA).

- W-2 - Added support for Massachusetts (MA) Paid Family and Medical Leave payments which are reported in the RS Record to the state.
- Note: Please see the Help File → Special Cases for State Filing for information on how to properly format your data to report this new field.
- Minnesota (MN) 1099 Filing - Missing or Incomplete Recipient TINs are now zero filled / zero padded in the state electronic file.
- This is because the state rejects any incomplete TINs.
- Idaho (ID) 1099 Filing - The state specific RV Record, which is part of the C Record, is now blank filled if there is no withholding for that record.
- Updated per the states' latest documentation.

- Federal Thresholds:
- 1099-PATR: Updated the Box 12 threshold from $.01 to $10 in accordance with IRS General Instructions.
- State Thresholds:
- Form Level
- 1099-PATR: Updated all state thresholds in accordance with IRS form changes.
- 1099-MISC: Updated all state thresholds in accordance with IRS form changes.
- 1099-NEC: Added new state thresholds based off of previous 1099-MISC states' thresholds (Box 7, State Income, State Tax Withheld).
- Subject to "State Level" modifications below.

- Alabama (AL) - Updated W-2G Box 1 & Box 7 to the $1500 threshold.
- Arizona (AZ) - Added 1099-S threshold to match federal thresholds.
- Note: AZ now requires direct reporting of the 1099-S tax form.
- Arizona (AZ) - Updated 1099-NEC threshold to only report forms with state tax withheld.
- Colorado (CO) - Updated 1099-NEC threshold to only report forms with state tax withheld.
- Connecticut (CT) - Removed thresholds for 1098 & 1099-S (no longer required by CT).
- District of Columbia (DC) - Updated 1099-NEC Box 1 threshold to $600.
- Florida (FL) - Added 1099-K threshold to match the federal thresholds.
- Note: FL now requires reporting of the 1099-K tax form.
- Georgia (GA) - Updated 1099-NEC threshold to only report forms with state tax withheld.
- Illinois (IL) - Updated 1099-K thresholds to greater than $1000 & 4 transactions.
- Maine (ME) - Removed 1099-NEC thresholds (not required by ME).
- Missouri (MO) - Updated 1099-MISC & 1099-NEC thresholds to $1200 or any forms with state tax withheld.
- Oregon (OR) - Added 1099-K threshold to file all OR 1099-K forms.
- Note: OR now requires direct reporting of the 1099-K tax form.
- Ohio (OH) - Removed 1099-NEC state reporting thresholds (not required by OH).
- Rhode Island (RI) - Updated 1099-MISC & 1099-NEC thresholds to only report forms with state tax withheld.
- South Carolina (SC) - Updated 1099-NEC threshold to only report forms with state tax withheld.
- Virginia (VA) - Added 1099-K thresholds to match federal thresholds.
- Note: VA now requires reporting of the 1099-K tax form.
- Vermont (VT) - Updated 1099-NEC threshold to only report forms with state tax withheld.

FIXED:
- Printing:
- Form 1042-S – 2019 print alignments were printing various fields in the same upper left corner positioning.
- Form 1042-S – 2019 Amended and Amendment No. checkbox alignment fixed (CS-2803)
- NOTE - 2019 1042-S Print Wizard has been updated to the same 2020 Print Wizard user interface.
- Form 1096 - 1099-NEC checkbox was not printing.
- Paper Filing:
- Form 1099-MISC - 1096 filing was calculating 1099-MISC totals incorrectly.
- Service Bureau:
Service Bureau Printed Status records were allowing corrections to be created instead of requiring resets (CS-2704)
- General:
- Account Number Generator - Form 1099-NEC were generating account numbers with "??" (CS-3036)

- Business Rules & Validation:
- Form 5498 - Rule R44 was updated to include Box 14b's new code BA (CS-3025)
- Form Entry & Import
- 1099-NEC custom check boxes were not showing up in the Transaction Log (CS-2985)
- 1099-NEC custom amount boxes were preventing filing if they had negative numbers (CS-3060)
- Reports
- Export Errors/Warnings Report, to Excel, was not functioning for the reject type "Multiple/Duplicate YTD Transactions" (CS-3047)
