Kaspersky Antivirus

Purpose: Doing this will allow 1099Pro Enterprise or Professional to install and/or update without any interference from the anti-virus software.

To bypass the scanning of 1099Pro Enterprise, Professional, 1042-S, W-2 Pro, 8966 Pro and Corporate Suite (Note: This assumes that the software is installed in the default installation locations)

1.  On the home page of Kaspersky Small Office Security 5, click on the gear in the lower right corner of the page.
   
   
   
   
2. In the Settings window, go to the Additional section and select Threats and Exclusions.
   
   
   
   
3. In the Threats and exclusions settings window, click the Manage exclusions link.
   
   
   
   
4. In the Exclusions window, click Add.
   
   
   
   
5. In the Add a new exclusion view, find the File or folder section and click Browse.
   
   
   
   
6. Select the 1099Pro folder or enter the path to the 1099Pro folder. Click Select.
   
   
   
   
7. In the Protection components section, select the check boxes for the components to which the exclusion rule will be applied and then click add.Select the rule status:
   
             Active - The application does not scan selected files or folders.
             Inactive - The application scans files and folders ignoring the rule.
   
   
   
   
8. 1099Pro will now without any interference from Kaspersky Small Office Security 5. An exclusion rule has been set.
