Release Notes

NEW: 

  • Filing - Puerto Rico corrections now enabled.
  • State Filing - Now supports state electronic corrections for Iowa W-2's.
  • Reports - Added ACA and PR forms to totaling all form types.
  • Reports - Added Group Action Reprint for custom reports.
  • Business Rules - New 1042-S business rule for Ch3 checkbox and Ch3 exemption code combinations.
  • Printing - Exposed recipient Copy B for 1042-S quick print.
  • Printing - Added PCode & Form Type to the 1096 when printing state subset forms. 

FIXED: 

  • Filing - ACA XMLs issues addressed: 
    • XML was passing both TIN and Date of Birth elements that caused submission issues. 
    • XML was passing Full Time and Total employment elements while they were '0' or 'blank' that caused submission issues. 
  • Reports - 1099-OID custom report was missing state withholding fields as available query criteria. 
  • Reports - 1098-T date/time and TIN certified controls was overprinting each other on extended report.
  • Reports - Fixed count errors in Form Counts Report.
  • Security - Filer/form security was not being respected when generating a bulk TIN upload.
  • Printing - The option to mark exported forms as "Printed" would not appear if the number of exported forms was evenly divisible by 256.
  • Printing - Reprint scheduler was not picking up prior year 1042-S jobs. 
  • General - 1098-Q form had overlay display issues on a correction form. 
  • General - Filer phone display truncating if maxed out free form foreign.
  • General - W-2G custom view did not display data. 

UPDATED: 

  • Reports - Record total checks now calculate every 24 hours.
  • Importing - Removed unneeded recipient and form source entry options from the Filer import map.
  • General - latest eFileViewer that enables State Subset and Puerto Rico manual editing. 
  • General - State mag wizards for 1099 and W-2 reorganized to handle non-electronic corrections, etc. 
  • General - Verbiage changes on W-2 state subset file generation wizard for file naming convention.
  • General - Latest print and resource files included. 
  • General - Latest help included.
