NEW:

UPDATED: 

  • State Filing
    • Arizona (AZ) W-2 filing format to include employer EIN in the RS Record (new state requirement effective in TY2020).
  • State Thresholds
    • Connecticut (CT) - 1099-K - Standard & CFS thresholds.
    • District of Columbia (DC) - 1099-K - Standard thresholds.
    • Georgia (GA) - 1099-K - Standard & CFS thresholds.
    • Maine (ME) - 1099-K - Standard & CFS thresholds.

FIXED: 

  • Importing (W-2 Transactional)
    • The software was truncating W-2 State ID Numbers when greater than 15 characters and imported with more than 1 transactional import.
    • This update includes a script to add back in the truncated characters.  This will only affect states with State ID Numbers greater than 15 (i.e MA, WI, VA).
  •  Business Rules & Validations
    • 480.7C - Business rule 42 changed for new residency type to trigger if no or multiple boxes are checked.
    • 480.7 - Business rules 10 and 11 were not triggering. 
  • Filing
    • 1099-K - Mag fix for Filer Type TPP not being set to ‘2’.
  • Reports
    • 499R-2 - Added new boxes to report wizard custom report and fixed duplication of ‘Box 12’ in field list.
    • 480.7C - Fixed version error on reports (standard totals and import totals), added residency type checkbox handling.
  • General
    • 480.6SP - Removed ‘Not’ from form image box 4 text as that box is subject to withholding.
    • 1099-B - Fixed TIN notice bleeding through when editing the address. 
    • Added default browse queries and views that were missing.
    • Added IRS instructions and updated ‘Forms & Pubs’ to include 2019 1098-F, 480.6SP, 1099-SB, 1099-LS, 1098-Q, and 1099-NEC for 2020.
  • Printing

    • 499R-2 - Payer phone number extension overflows.

    • 499R-2 - Pressure Seal 8888-1 print layout was printing box 13 in wrong location.
    • 499R-2 - Combined recipient layouts were printing a trailing blank page. 
    • 499R-2 - Error message when printing.
    • W-2 - Error message was popping up for combined blank stock and pre-printed layouts.
