Minimum CS Version Required To Apply Update: CS v2018.12.10
NEW:
- Filing - IRS Combined Federal/State Filing (CFS) capability now available when filing corrections.
UPDATED:
- General - Latest IRS/SSA country codes included.
- Filing - Puerto Rico now allows for up to 11 characters for the tax year 2018 eFiling confirmation number (excluding 499R-2).
- Importing - Removed unneeded step in the Recipient Import wizard that asked what Form Status to import the recipients in (not applicable for Recipient Imports).
- Importing - Expanded the previous new Recipient Import feature, from v2018.13.12, to apply to recipients with blank/missing TINs as well.
- Printing - Removed W-2C black Copy A warning.
FIXED:
- Filing - Prior year (<=TY2017) 1042-S e-filing issues.
- Filing - Fixed an issue with ACA 1094-C Part III XML generation.
- Printing - Adjustment to 1042-S Box 13b now allows 40 characters to be displayed in box 13a.
- Printing - Overflow issues to 1099-H, 499R-2, 1042-S casino layout.
- Printing - Overlapping tax year on 1042-S 2018 casino overlay.
- Form Entry - Creating localilty change on top of a state amount change was triggering a 2-part correction.
- Form Entry - Removed invalid 1042-S Chapter 4 tax rates of 21% and 37%. Those rates are only valid for Chapter 3.
- Reports - State totals were printing twice on form total reports in a specific scenario (i.e multiple filers are tagged but only one actually has forms).
- Importing - TIN Type was displayed as "0" on Recipient Imports map overview (no impact on the actual data being import though).
- Importing - Recipient import was not creating recipient record correctly when TIN is missing.
- Importing - Recipient import had extra unneeded screen during wizard for import status.
- General - Puerto Rico code 'RQ' was incorrectly triggering an error on 1042-S validation.
- General - A number of other small fixes and enhancements are also included in this release.
