Important
- 1099-K threshold - In late December 2022, the IRS released guidance that the implementation of the reduced $600 threshold for 1099-K reporting will be delayed until tax year 2023. As a result, the federal threshold for the 1099-K reporting for tax year 2022 will stay at $20,000 and 200 transactions.
New and improved:
- For ACA reporting, we enabled electronic filing, Service Bureau uploads, and state filing for the 1095-B and 1095-C forms.
- For printing, we added a 1042-S Black/White Copy custom layout option. (JARVIS-81)
- For Maine (ME), we added quarterly state filing for tax years 2020 and 2021.
- We updated the latest Zip Codes.
- For the 1098-F, we made Business Rule R05, Payment Code required, inactive as it is no longer required. (JARVIS-178)
- For the Service Bureau, we updated the Print and Mail wizard screens with a list of unsupported form types. (JARVIS-179)
Bug fixes:
- Previously, the corrections instructions for the 480.7C were misaligned. We fixed this issue. (JARVIS-160)
- Previously, there were errors when printing B-Notices due to missing print resource files. We fixed this issue. (JARVIS-166)
- We fixed an issue with Box 13d, Recipient's Country, on the 1042-S not printing. (JARVIS-163)
- Previously the Import Summary Report for the 480.7C was causing an error. We fixed this issue. (JARVIS-169)
