The 1099 Pro Service Bureau will not include the 1099-NEC as part of the Combined Federal State Filing Program (CF/SF). In order to perform 1099-NEC state filing, via the Service Bureau, customers must purchase the additional 1099-NEC state filing service (details here).
Many states, that implemented their own 1099-NEC filing mandates, are still requiring state direct filing as opposed to allowing filers to use the IRS CF/SF Program. This is because most states have already built their reporting portals and direct reporting provides the data to states earlier in the year which is a critical tool in combating tax fraud.

- Service Bureau:
- Virginia (VA) state filing is no longer supported via Service Bureau. (CS-3516)

- Electronic Filing:
- 1099-MISC - A Record was missing Code F for prior year filing. (CS-3497)
- Puerto Rico (PR) - Processing with Grouped by EIN filter with high volume of filers was causing no records to be processed. (CS-3499)
- State Filing:
- W-2 - State "Corr Active" status corrections were not being processed in State Subset Filing Wizard. (CS-2512)
- W-2 - Connecticut (CT) - Correction files zero filled RT and RF records. (CS-3520)
- W-2 - Georgia (GA) - Correction file was missing RCS record per state spec requirements. (CS-3518)
- W-2 - Iowa (IA) - Correction file had RS record was dropping zero fill, and RV record was missing. (CS-3519)
- ACA - California (CA) - Error occurred during electronic XML file creation. (CS-3238)
- Service Bureau:
- W-2 - Service Bureau Upload Wizard - Zero Form filter was processing Box 14 as an amount box for filing. (CS-3498)
- Business Rules & Validation:
- W-2 - Rules R03 and R04 are now triggered. (CS3286)
- Security & Administration:
- Audit Trails & Logging - Security Audit Logs report now works. (CS-2236)
